Reflector unit with static reflector for UV medium-pressure lamps, type Aachen.

The reflector unit type "Aachen" is available in different lengths. The reflector halves can be adjusted by means of screws for the initial adjustment of the focus. The reflectors consist of an extruded aluminium profile and replacable reflector plates (mirror finish anodised aluminium mirror plates or dichroic reflector panels) inserted into the profile.

Lamp lengths with an electrode gap of up to 1,650 mm a specific lamp power of up to 240 W/cm, or even longer units with reduced specific power, can be supplied.

Cooling is achieved using air and is usually extracted from the top of the unit. For this purpose, the reflector unit is equipped with one or more exhaust air vents.
