The increasing requirements for temperature-sensitive substrates require the use of special reflectors, so-called dichroic reflectors, also known as UV cold reflectors.

We at uv-technik meyer gmbh provide solutions which match the increased performance of UV curing modules. The dichroic cold light reflectors have been designed for use in high-power UV applications while simultaneously reducing the infrared radiation.

As with conventional reflectors, dichroic cold light reflectors reflect the UV radiation in a very efficient way. However, the IR radiation is absorbed so that the substrate and the ink or varnish on its surface is subjected to lower thermal stress.
