The FSU range is indispensable in almost every field of the printing industry, metal coating, water treatment and in LCD manufacturing.

The UV power range from 3,000 to 34,000 Watts provides you with sufficient flexibility for your UV application of > 2 metres and up to 170 W/cm. And what makes the FSU range so remarkable is something they do not feature, namely switching steps to control the power output. The FSU 200 and FSU 340 ballasts control is infinitely variable - within 20 milliseconds over the entire power range !

These ballasts, completely electronic output controllers, operate using a trapezoidal lamp current. With standard ballasts operated at a sinousoidal mains frequency of 50/60 Hz, each "zero crossing" causes a zero UV period. The operating principle of the FSU range, however, completely avoids these "off" times.

No more problems caused by poor ignition: The integral ignition unit works with an ignition voltage of up to 3.5 kV and a lamp voltage of 900 to 1360 V.
