Reflector unit for inkjet applications.

The reflector unit type "Mainz" has deliberately been designed as a compact device and is intended for the curing of small areas. The lit length of the ozone-free medium-pressure lamp is 70 mm with a total electrical power of 1,050 W. The static reflectors are equipped with mirror finish anodised aluminium reflector plates. A UV transmitter is integrated into the reflector unit as well as a quartz glass plate that forms the border for the substrate. These are used to filter out IR radiation so as to thermally protect the irradiated substrate. The cooling of the UV lamp and the case is performed using an integrated fan.
The ozone-free exhaust air is blown out from the top of the unit.
