This reflector unit has been developed for Gallus printing presses, series R160 and R200. Because of its higher UV yield due to an improved reflector, it only requires one UV lamp and can be operated with the existing, (slightly modified) electrical system.

The reflector unit "Mini" has been specifically designed to be simple and robust and is intended for the curing of small areas. The lit length of the standard Fe-doped UV medium-pressure lamp is 31 mm, with a total electrical power of 450 W.

The reflector unit of type Mainz has specially been designed for inkjet applications. The lit length of the ozone-free UV medium-pressure lamp is 70 mm with a total electrical power of 1,050 W. The cooling of the UV lamp and the case is achieved by means of an integrated fan. The ozone-free exhaust air is blown out of the top of the unit.
