UVM-QSO 3 UV on-line sensor

This sensor has been specially developed for the online continuous monitoring of UV medium
pressure lamps.

The high UV intensity and the high temperature, both of which are responsible for the usual rapid aging and the drifting of a sensor, place particular requirements on an on-line sensor.

By selecting suitable radiation converters and quartz materials and in combination with a special quartz rod system, an easy to handle sensor has been developed.

The quartz rod of the sensor can be placed near the lamp, e.g. at the edge of the reflector. The measured value is sent as a DC 10 … 10 V signal which indicates the radiation intensity of the lamp using, for example a simple voltmeter,
or which can also be processed in a PLC. The sensitivity can be set in steps of 10 up to the factor 1,000. The sensor is equipped with a purging air connection.
