UVH lamps are mercury-vapour medium-pressure lamps of high specific power and an optimised UVC yield.

This energy-rich radiation is capable of breaking down chemical compounds and, among other things, of killing germs. Therefore, UVH lamps are used to support UV oxidation, for UV curing as well as for the sterilisation of liquids and surfaces of solids. The main area of application is the UV curing of inks, varnishes, adhesives, sealing compounds and semi-finished polyester products, primarily in the following industries with the respective focus:

UVH lamps are characterised by a high UV yield and a long service life. Their most outstanding feature is the combination of new types of electrodes and tuned halogen "everclear" cycle that account for high radiation emission during the entire service life.
