The UV Parrot is designed for the disinfection of smaller rooms - such as doctors surgeries, dentists, small waiting rooms and small offices. It is capable of disinfecting between 30 to 45m³ in floor spaces of between 10 and 20m². The device works by exposing the air to UVC light resulting in a near complete reduction of germs and bacteria in the air. The device can provide chemical free disinfection. The uv lamps themselves are shielded to the outside meaning that there is no direct safety issues. Therefore the device is suitable for continuous (24 hour) operation in the presence of any persons.
